They quickly realized people were looking for more than just pine trees so they packed up shop, moved online, and as they say, the rest is history! Over the years, they’ve expanded to offer 10,000 items for your landscape, delivered directly to your door.
Founded in 1981, FOTUF are a non-profit organization committed to revitalizing San Francisco’s urban forest, building community, and taking a local leadership role in mitigating global environmental problems through the simple act of planting and caring for trees and sidewalk gardens. Their 3-year goal is to plant and care for 7,500 trees across San Francisco, growing the urban forest where it is needed most.
One Tree Planted is an environmental nonprofit that is dedicated to making it simple for anyone to help the environment. Since 2014, they have planted over 135.5 million trees with 378 partners across 82 countries. Through this work, they’ve restored over 118,518 hectares (292,864 acres) of forest around the world, made 106 cities greener by planting urban trees for environmental justice and tree equity, and more.
